About two decades ago, Joan Rivers once declared that Kansas City was the “apex of stupidity” after Hallmark had used her catchphrase “Can we talk?” in their greeting cards.

On February 7, 2007, a Hollywood Bitchslap/eFilmCritic crew from Kansas City attempted to prove that it was possible to conduct a series of red carpet video interviews with questions that are different from Rivers’ trademark “Who are you wearing?”

Oscar-winner Billy Bob Thornton (Sling Blade), Oscar-nominee Virginia Madsen (Sideways) and writers Michael and Mark Polish (Twin Falls Idaho, Northfork) came to town to plug their latest movie, The Astronaut Farmer.
