Call me an anti-publicity dolt:

This movie's been delayed about 4 times, if not more.

It was supposed to be out over a year ago.

Whether or not you think this bodes well for the film is entirely up to you.

I don't see why studios delay movies. If they do, people are going to know because it's crap.

If that were the case, they'd be releasing the movie the day after his death when everyone's feeling charitable about his career output.

(And NO I am not wishing anybody dead.)

What blows my mind is that they've wasted all this money on what is going to be the biggest bombed-out ruin since Dresden, and then they throw even more money after it by saturating the airwaves with commercials for it that don't have even one funny snippet to offer. God I hope this film completely tanks, as it so righteously deserves to do.

On the other hand, that other incontinence stain, Scooby Doo, managed to break well over 100, so anything's possible in the Hollywood crap shoot.

What? Are you saying that a frozen chihuahua isn't funny? Or the fact that once you "thaw" the dog out it may bark a lot?

I beg to differ!

Wowee wow wow.

Opening weekend estimates:

1. XXX, $23 million.
2. Signs, $19.5 million.
3. Blue Crush, $15.2 million.
4. Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, $11.6 million.
5. Austin Powers in Goldmember, $8.7 million.
6. My Big Fat Greek Wedding, $5.8 million.
7. Blood Work, $4.8 million.
8. Road to Perdition, $3.8 million.
9. The Master of Disguise, $3.3 million
=====
10. The Adventures of Pluto Nash, $2.15 million

Yeah, I think it's safe to nickname this one "Leonard Part 7"
