Imagine they're making a film about Hollywood Bitchslap. Who would you cast as:

The Angry Jew
Erik The Movieman
Frosty
Sporkgirl
Ben
Paulapalooza
King of the Bros
The Velvet Edge
Oz
Maegs
Eric D. Snider
The Guv'nor
Thom

...and yourself? (don't be offended if you didn't get mentioned, we have a lot of people here so I tried to stick to old schoolers.)

I'd have to think about this, but the one that came to mind immedietly: KOTB - Ashton Kutcher.

Well according to the "Jim The Movie Freak's Signs review" thread below, I guess Jennifer Lopez's rearend would be cast as myself. Could I just be referred to as Jim The Booty Freak from now on please?

JIM

P.S Since I know Erik personally, I guess I would have to go with a dark-haired Edward Norton or an older version of Patrick Fugit from "Almost Famous" for Mr. Movieman. And honestly, I would probably have to cast Jake Gyllenhall as anybody because if he stars in every movie that comes out then I'm a happy cat. If I slim down and grow my hair back, maybe just maybe I could resemble him if I really try. No, I'm not obsessed I swear. Smile

For me, it would have to be Noah Taylor as he looked as young David Helfgott in "Shine." I had my hair dyed black at one point in my life and we both have that dorky overbite. It was the only time during a movie where I felt I had a doppleganger out there in the world, but I doubt you'd see that if you looked at my picture on this site. Still, that's the only person I have in mind.

At various times I've been told I resemble the following people:

M. Emmet Walsh (the hitman in Blood Simple)
Jay Leno
Tim Robbins

Problem is, none of these guys can get the house jumpin' like UDM can.

The Angry Jew - Gilbert Gottfried

Erik The Movieman - David Duchovny (cos he pretends to be Mr Romance, but really he's an uber sex fiend)

Frosty - Jordana Brewster (because everyone loves Frotsy)

Sporkgirl - Clea Duvall (I can see her wielding a spork)

Ben - David Krumholtz (Slums of Bev Hills "Luck be a lay-dee, too-night!")

Paulapalooza - Harry Connick Jr (thank me for that one later, Paul)

King of the Bros - Sean William Scott (Did you know they're making a SEQUEL to Dude Where's My Car?)

The Velvet Edge - Janeane Garofalo (or Mayor McCheese)

Oz - Clooney (only for hair's sake)

Maegs - Joan Cusack (a hair color change would be necessary, but hey.)

Eric D. Snider - Josh Saviano (Wonder Years' Paul!)

The Guv'nor - Harry Dean Stanton (have you *seen* how much this cat drinks?)

Thom - Jack Black (Oh yeah, you know you dig it, Smooth.)

Yeah, I see. You're Clooney and I'm Gilbert Gottfried. Rolling Eyes

Stop projecting.

There are many beautiful and charasmatic actors -- enough to go around. No need to grouse.

Just remember -- they have to be smart and funny, too.

Oooh, toughie. I'm never very good at these. Potential apologies to those people whose appearance I'm unfamiliar with.

The Angry Jew - Tommy Chong

Erik The Movieman - Michael Rapaport

Frosty - Rose McGowan (wish-fulfillment on my part, to be sure, and they're both feisty)

Sporkgirl - Allyson Hannigan (in leather pants)

Ben - Leeroy Thornhill (that guy in Prodigy who dances)

Paulapalooza - John Cusack (I've been getting personality comparisons for years)

King of the Bros - Alex Winter

The Velvet Edge - Angelina Jolie (more wish-fulfillment on my part)

Oz - Guy Pearce

Maegs - Vicki Lewis

Eric D. Snider - Michael Imperioli

The Guv'nor - A young Oliver Reed

Thom - Rupert Everett

BONUS:

Phloog - God Almighty

Seeing Scott's pic at OFC, he kinda reminds me more of Ray Liotta

I'll have to agree with Paulie and say apologies to those whom I have never met before.

The Angry Jew - Heath Ledger, 'cause he's all 10 things

Erik The Movieman - Giovanni Ribisi, I'm not sure, I just went with my gut on this one

Frosty - Selma Blair, its purely the close resemblance

Sporkgirl - Jamie Pressley, ditto

Ben - Tom Everett Scott, its that dark hair and those lover-boy looks

Paulapalooza - Matt Dillon, because he's all mysterious and smoldering

King of the Bros - Orlando Bloom, damn that boy is fine.

The Velvet Edge - Mira Sorvino, this one is so obvious

Oz - Simon Baker (we'd have to change the hair a bit but otherwise, a dead ringer)

Maegs - Soleil Moon Frye, but now that I've chopped my hair off, the resemblance isn't as pronounced.

Eric D. Snider - Guy Pearce (On the QT and very hush hush)

The Guv'nor - A young Alan Rickman

Thom - James Caviezel

BONUS:

Phloog - Michael Vartan.

That's odd, as I used to hang out with him back in the day when he was a soapie star in Australia and all unknown n'shit. And I'm quite sure nobody ever got us confused. But thanks!

Yo I think the Sony Dream Cast ROCKS! My favorite game is Ninja Bitches vs. the Gorehound Gravy Boat!

So weird,

The people who know me cast Edward Norton and David Duchovny and those who don't think Michael Rapaport and Giovanni Ribisi!

Guess I come off better in person.

I only chose Duchovny because I can see you in a Steven Seagal-kimono robe offering Mary McCormack $500 to give you a hand job.

If Full Frontal left me with anything... Embarassed
