Most of them sucked, but there were definitely some goodies. You can view them all here.

What were your favorites? False Dalmatian and What's In a Name were mine.

What's a superbowl? I only watch when the Cowboys get in, other than that I scared myself poopless watching all twelve hours of "Ghost Hunters" marathon with all the lights out.

Sad

Yeah, I went over to my sister-in-law's last night - but none of us really care about football and it was an excuse to play with the kids a bit and then drink.

Other than a decent Ghost Rider preview, I didn't notice much of note commercial-wise. Maybe the office survivor thing- the armor made from supplies was pretty funny- especially the post-it native. Lame overall though. I think I remember only one commercial that had any balls to it, but hell if I can remember it- I remember the episode of Monk me and Amanda watched when we got home more than the whole event. Nice to see Prince still had some juice, but hey Eagles weren't playing so who gives a fuck?

Canadian content rules meant we didn't get to see them.

But I still wonder, why isn't the sort of creativity and effort that is put into Superbowl commercials put into, say, Buffy commercials, or Fear Factor commercials, or Lose Ten Pounds Eating Donuts commercials?

Is a sense of humor really something that costs $2m to hire?

No one ever mentions it, but I loved the Rock Scissors Paper commercial. For Bud Light, I think...

The game after the first quarter was a snooze-fest though.

It's a gigantic bowl, you can put, like, fifty bags of nachos in there. They advertised it during the Super Bowl. Razz
