I realize it was unintentional, but Gene Wilder playing a character named "Michael Jordan" (from Chicago) was probably the only funny thing about "Hanky Panky"
Also, a hero named "Dick Sherwood," the best porn actor name ever, in the 1930's film "Yellowstone." _________________ Charles Tatum's Review Archive |

Continuing the theme, it's a little tragic that a certain Oscar-nominated film is today remembered mostly because the lead character is named...

I doubt anyone can beat "Pistachio Disguisey" on Master of Disguise. _________________ Slyder

It's funny, because Spike's early naming can cut both ways. "Mars Blackmon" was a classic. "Mister Señor Love Daddy." "Da Mayor." All great stuff. But yeah, then you have shit like "Flipper Purify."
Lucas thought up a bunch of stupid ones for the prequels. "Dexter Jettster" might be the worst, though there's plenty of competition. _________________ But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

But that's supposed to be silly. I love that name.
I also love Chev Chelios - so goofy, so wrong, so right.
As for Lucas: the man named his son "Jett" and let his kids name lots of characters. But after the awesomeness of a name like Lando Calrissian, he can do whatever he wants, name-wise.
Meanwhile: Juno Macduff. Seriously? |

I will notify the estate of Bram Stoker immediately. But Dracula doesn't count (ha ha), because you asked for a "life time worst character", and I think it can safely be said that Dracula is, well, dead. |

I can't decide if it's the film director...or the guy who was found not guilty of beating Bob Crane to death with a tripod! _________________ Charles Tatum's Review Archive |

| Heh! I thought the same damn thing. (By the way, I can't agree with your 5-star rating of Carpenter's Body Bags, but I did give it a semi-healthy 3-star rating.) |
