I missed all of this when it aired, but for some unknown reason, I just started watching it on Netflix. Two episodes in, and the cheese is everywhere. But I'm kinda digging it in a dumbass slasher flick kind of way - every now and then I let myself get sucked in by some goofy crap, and this is one of those times.

Anyone else catch this?

I was going to, but the DVR flaked on me and I gave up. Once I get caught up on my festival-induced TV backlog, I may give it another shot (IMDB seems to have all 13 episodes). Dug the idea, like some of the cast.

My wife watched this nigh religiously, therefore I saw portions of it throughout the last month. Relentlessly mean, typically stupid, and I must consign myself to the fact that I just don't like slasher fare- I find it hateful, non-cathartic, despicable and ugly. I will say that for tv, it pulled shit that makes the first Friday the 13th look positively tame by comparison. but I'm just not a fan of kill-porn.

Yeah, a lot of what I've seen so far really pushed things in terms of what's airable on broadcast TV. It's all very gaudy - which, of course, is sort of the appeal.

As for IMDB: Jay, be careful where you look. IMDB has it listed how many episodes everyone appears in, and considering the show promises to kill off everyone one by one as the season rolls on, a single glimpse at the IMDB page can reveal who gets killed when.

Heh, I thought of that as soon as I went to the page. I just happened to be there rather than Hulu at the moment (even if they don't have the episodes right there, they have become the de facto index for TV on the internet). I just got a peek, and only one or two of the actors are folks I can recognize.

Love the titles of the episodes, though - after the pilot, it looks like they're all sound effects.

The explanation I read is that each episode title (including the pilot) is the sound effect of that week's murder. Neat.

Even I don't know much about that.
