There isn't really a bad movie I watch over and over, unless it's on my VHS copies of Mystery Science Theater 3000, recorded off of early 1990's Comedy Central! _________________ Charles Tatum's Review Archive |

The Day After Tomorrow and most 1950s sci-fi flicks. _________________ "We hate the French! We fight wars against the French! Did all those men die in vain on the fields of Agincourt? Was the man who burned Joan of Arc just wasting good matches?" |

Well, there's no middle ground with that film. You either love or loathe it. Me, I couldn't get past the first 20 minutes. I don't mind a cinematic mind-fuck as long as it's one hell of an ultra-orgasmic lay.

The first time I watched it, that rabbit scared the shit out of me. I liked Butterfly effect for its originality. But Mothman Prophesies bored me to tears. _________________ "Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell" ~ Pinhead |

And I loved "The Mothman Prophecies" when I usually don't like that kind of thing. Still one of the best films of its decade, and it's absolutely brilliantly directed, especially the grand finale with the collapsing bridge. _________________ "Joe the Plumber -- you can quote me -- is a dumbass." -- Meghan McCain |

I plan to watch it again, because I have noticed that as I get older my movie tastes have changed drastically. As a matter of fact, I watched The Changeling (George C. Scott) last night. I hadn't seen it in about 6 years and I could understand and appreciate it much more than before. _________________ "Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell" ~ Pinhead |

Haven't seen it in over 20 years, but I do still remember that ball bouncing down the stairs and landing at Scott's feet. Was a lot more menacingly suggestive than the rolling ball in The Shining. _________________ "Joe the Plumber -- you can quote me -- is a dumbass." -- Meghan McCain |

What I really liked about "Remo Williams" is that the excellent character actor Fred Ward finally got to headline a major motion picture; and Joel Grey's work as the title character's Yoda-like teacher was commendable, too. I can't work up much enthusiasm for the "Arthur" sequel, though. _________________ "Joe the Plumber -- you can quote me -- is a dumbass." -- Meghan McCain |

I always thought "Arthur 2" was never as bad as everyone said. And, no, I think I will avoid the Russell Brand remake. How anyone finds that guy funny is beyond me. _________________ Charles Tatum's Review Archive |

If I can't help but dig a movie, I don't think it's terrible.
That said, I'll take the worst Ed Wood film over what routinely gets nominated for Oscars. _________________ But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Oh, I forgot -- Bob Clark's "Rhinestone"!
The same can't be said for Clark's "Loose Cannons", which is simply painful to watch.
