How many movies of 2010 you watched . Which is the best one. Please tell me. My choice is "How to Train Your Dragon" (animated)

I don't think I've seen not one movie that was released this year. I've been watching alot of older ones. Although I did see Antichrist, (an independent film) now that I think of it. But I didn't like it.

The Hurt Locker is the best movies for 2010. The Hurt locker is an American war film about a three-man United States Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team during the Iraq War.

I haven't watched that many; then again, I have a good excuse -- I haven't been to a movie theatre since the opening day of "Grindhouse"!

Now, now, Jack; we all know that, in your case, going to the theater and watching a film "only in theaters" are not synonymous propositions.

For my part, I can say with pride that I have not seen a single film that had its first theatrical release in 2010. The most recent film I saw was in January, but that was "Sherlock Holmes", which came out last December. Prior to that? That God-awful "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". That's right, two films in two years. And before that, if I remember correctly, my last foray into a cinema was in late 2006.

The principal reason for not going to the theater anymore is that I really can't afford it, and that the last cinema in my vicinity specialized in discount screenings (i.e. the bottom of the barrel) until it closed a while ago. But that doesn't explain everything, as I'm refusing to rent recent films, I don't search the Internet for downloads, and I'm not planning to watch them when they will be broadcast. I just don't care for 90 percent of new films I hear about, and the remaining 10% isn't enticing enough. I'm perfectly content with nodding distantly whenever someone mentions "Inception" (though I did read Rex Reed's review of it, out of curiosity; I only got the faintest of impressions, rather than an argument, as to why he hated it, and it seemed to have less to do with the film than with the critic).

I can't count the number of pre-1970 films I have seen during that time period, though.

You know 2010 seemed like such a down year for movies, at least to me.

Best movie I've seen recently was A Kings Speech, which I loved. Would that be considered a 2010 movie? I saw it this year.

Most anticipated was Harry Potter which I liked and saw at a midnight shwoing.

But probably my favorite was Toy Story (which will probably get me a "see more movies" Smile

Is it me, or have movies gotten worse?
