Buying popcorn from a movie theater is the most retarded thing a person can do these days.

Why the fuck do I have to sit through the worst commericals in the entire world before the movie begins? There should not be fucking Quizno's or BMW commercials before movie trailers, damn it! This has to be stopped! Going to the movies has become more and more like watching TV at home! Why is this?

You know who you are...and someday, if you keep talking through the damn movie, we as an audience will rise up and tear out your throat and render you silent. You have been warned, we will no longer "shush" you...

Five of the top six movies at the box office this weekend are all remakes or sequels. Someone needs to pass a law limiting the amount of crap that can be repackaged and passed off as an original work and they need to do it NOW!

If Freddie Prinz JR is ever in another movie, I swear I will take off my tinfoil hat and climb the nearest clocktower, rifle in hand, and it'll take 65 US Marshals to bring me down.

Somebody please tell me what is the point of having wipers on headlights? Does this actually help in any way? Or does is it just another way to try and convince one's self that it's not really raining? I'd like people to quit showing them off to me. I never know what to say. "Ooooo, so now you see better when you're driving during a downpour! What will they think of next? Impressive!" No, not really. Just stupid.

All of you complaining about movie stuff...you're all right on! And you need to pick up Kevin Murphy's book "A Year At The Movies." (Book review coming soon)

How the hell do people still find time to watch Will and Grace when there's smart TV around like 24, Band of Brothers, Soprano's, Six Feet Under, The Shield, Boomtown, Law and Order, ER... I mean, if I hear one more person say "Band of Brothers? Never heard of it" and then wax lyrical about how funny Will and Grace is, I'm going for an eye.

How the hell do people find time to watch tv at all when there are so many movies out there to watch...Or books to read or music to listen to or children to raise?

TiVo-- all the good stuff is there waiting for you when you have time for it. And, zipping through the commercials, an hour-long drama is about 42 minutes long.

I honestly don't know what I would do with that 18 minutes per hour TiVo would save me - maybe learn a 4th language? Wink

Naw, who am I kidding - I would probably waste it. TiVo is cool.

Store managers that buy dozens of cases of Diet Lemon Coke but no Diet Lemon Pepsi are working for the Communists.

Really? And what about a certain terrorist leader?

Anyway, Willow doesn't begin with O.

The minute people find out you love movies, they recommend the worst comedy you have ever seen to you as vomit-inducingly funny.

And how!

Anyone who recommends shit like The Majestic to you as a good movie is a totally uneducated fool who deserves nothing but impatient ire. Sadly, I have met several such people in my life.

And I once dated a doctor who insisted that Patch Adams was a great movie. For her, no love.

Oprah Winfrey was hypnotized by Dr Phil and is now obeying his every command. That's my baseless theory of the day.

I think the Blue Pepsi and Vanilla Coke are pretty nasty, too. I like to keep it simple -- Dr. Pepper or Ginger Ale (Canada Dry).

Anyone who can denigrate the flavor of any Pepsi brand and then admit to drinking Dr Pepper... also working for the Communists.
