Both William Lustig's Maniac and Vigilante, which were Anchor Bay labels and have been out-of-print for a while, are getting new releases on Jan. 30th of next year compliments of Blue Underground, a company that director Lustig helped found.

But don't get your hopes up, for the special features are the same as on the AB discs. Still, for those who don't own these must-have titles (well, according to me, anyway), there won't be any excuses after this date for not owning these 4-outof-5-star flicks!

Haven't seen Vigilante. Worth it?

Robert Forster? Fred Williamson? Woody Strode?

Sold.

Lord that shot of the kinderwurst blowing through the upstairs window- oh, its poetry.

Forrester's great.

This is about as manipulative as it gets- Death Wish isn't even so garish in its offenses driven to the mostly white audience.
