In my various attempts to relieve boredom, I have devised a game I am submitting to Bitchslappers around here: The Wikipediathon.

Yes, the Wikipediathon. I know it sounds silly but the premise is even more so. But let us move to the point (if there is one).

Each person starts at the main page of Wikipedia (English-language), and clicks twice on "random article".

The first random article will be the starting point.
The second random article will be the ending point.
The person who succeeds in reaching the second random article from the first with the fewest clicks on links in each entry wins.

So, for example:

Starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uxellodunum
Ending point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PuTiNa

When I solve this one, I'll post the result.

Heh. I peeked at "what links here" for the final page, and a big nothing shows up. I know, I know, I cheated, but that's because it was impossible to solve.

I made it pretty far, though:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uxellodunum to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_meanings_of_countries%27_names to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_India to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_poetry to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kannada_poetry

Anybody else wants to try?

Okay, you asked for it:

Starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globe_and_mail
Ending point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuum_cleaner

Have a go at it, Whytey.
