"This is the sort of film that Hollywood wants to make but can't."
5 stars

This is the one of the most stylish action movies ever.

I dont want to hear any people say 'But it's in French!'
If that is a reason for you to stop watching a film, get the FUCK out of my sight and kill yourself. Seriously. Kill yourself.

This is the sort of film that Hollywood wants to make but can't. Why? Because it is original.

I am not going to even tell you squat about the story.. See it afresh. I will just say that NOTHING about this film is bad. From Eric Serras funky score, the bleak and stark Cinematography, the stylized direction, the cool acting. AND if that isn't enough.. JEAN RENO! The man himself who lifts every film (shit, he even made Godzilla better.. not much though).
Also Anne Parillaud is superb in this, she could whoop Fonda's boney yankee butt and still look cool.
EVEN the script translated is excellent.

THIS FILM IS AMAZING.. But I supposed you guessed I thought that already.

And if you disagree, go watch Armageddon and jack off to how cool Ben Affleck is.... tossers.

(If you have seen THE ASASSIN with Bridget 'dipshit' Fonda in it, and prefered it to Nikita. Never EVER come back to this page. Ever again.)
