"Though not a film and not really a documentary it still evokes em"
4 stars

This is not really a film.

Basically after Luc Besson made 'The Big Blue', he fell so much in love with the sea that he wanted to make a film purely about the sea. And he did.

This documentary of sorts guides you around many aspects of animals in the deep oceans, accompanied by an Eric Serra score it is a marvel to watch.

So in all this is a visual treat,Besson has produced a wonderful and seemingly magical aquatic essay. And Serras score manipulates feelings of dread (sharks) beauty (fishies) in all the perfect places.

Though not a film and not really a documentary it still evokes emotion and respect.
