yet another movie that i feel was misrepresented in the previews and in the media. i was expecting a younger something about mary, and i wasn't expecting much. instead it's another attempt at finding the breakfast club for the 90s... and i'm gettin tired of it.do not get me wrong. i laughed. a lot. it was very funny. and i so sweat that guy chris klein (and no NOT just because his character was named oz... not *just* that...) and i got a webcam because of this movie. well, that part is a coincidence, but it certainly gave me some ideas.
the humor was shameless. and that i can respect a great deal. not as edgy as i was led to believe, for example, south park has pretty much ruined that for any other movie. nthing can be as brazen. but this was funny nonetheless, and i will in all likelyhood rent it, it was enjoyable.
the premise, four friends trying to lose their virginity before highschool gets out, is a great setup. but, the conculsion is kinda cutesy for my tastes.
and i hate to be a downer, but a lot of it was incredibly predictable, or had been done many times before. this didn't ruin the movie experience for me, but it didn't make the movie memorable for me.i give it three sporks because i enjoyed it, btu it wasn't all i expected or wanted it to be. but i'll rent it, shyeah. the foreign exchange sutdent and willow made it worth it.
