I won't be as wordy as Oz. Cause I basically have a different reason you all should go see this.Visually stunning. I'm going to see it again because I was so absorbed by the sheer beauty of the images, that I think I might have missed some lines here and there. Anyone interested in the visual arts should see this movie. A lot of times, special effects are breathtaking, or stunning. But What Dreams May Come presents a thing of real beauty.
Any art major should be required to see this. It's a fabulous blend of the classic, specifically: impressionistic style of painting, with modern technology. Bringing a freakin Monet to life. And executed flawlessly. They chose to use very vivid colors, which made the execution a lot more difficult, but hot damn did it pay off.
Completely surreal scene, but they made you believe every second. If you're worried about the religious side of this story, or quote "defining a heaven" let me put your concerns to rest. This is a movie, first of all. And as a fatasy story, this pulls off every ounce of polical correctness. Unless your ultrareligious and would be offended by a movie not following your creed, you won't be dissapointed. It's a really beautiful movie. To look at, to listen to, To experience. Ahhhh, I haven't enjoyed a true love movie as much as this one since the Princess Bride. 5 sporks.
