"Just say no."
1 stars

In their fifth and possibly worst movie, Cheech & Chong go to a film festival in Amsterdam.

In their other movies, they played losers and dopers with no money. Here they play themselves -- the rich, famous Cheech and Chong. They sign autographs and are mistaken for Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. Smells like a vanity project to me. Most of it is lame sketches ("E.T. the Extra Testicle") leading up to about 20 minutes of sporadically funny concert footage.

When Quentin Tarantino took "Reservoir Dogs" to the Amsterdam film festival, he was writing "Pulp Fiction," in which Vincent Vega has that monologue about the hash bars in Amsterdam. Cheech & Chong must've had a good time there.
