I am going to rite a review for the moovie "April Fools Day". It came out in 1986 and was done by Paramount Studios. The cast starz a lot of people who were sorta famous in the 80's. Like Deborah Forman, Amy Steel and the other screwed O'Neal, Tatum's brother Griffin. I was reely interested to see if this was gonnna be scarie and it kinda was wierd with it's tricks. Well it was for me.The story starts with the teens getting ready to visit their friend Muffy St John (Deborah Foreman). She has inherited a huge island resort or something and wants her friends to see it. So the teenage friends of Muffy meet at a dock and there is an accident when a guy gets lodged between a boat and the dock itself. IT WAS WEIRD. Then they get inside the ferry boat or something and look at Muffy's mansion. The next day, Muffy is missing and Kit (Amy Steel) and her boyfriend Rob (I forgot this actor's name) are worried. Then they start dropping off like flies. They screame and run but cannot get away from a killer who is luuse. Some teenagers are floating in the water all bloated and blue and others are hanging from the celing.
They know they are in danger and the morale is shaken but they start to find clues. Is this going to tell them who is the killer? Kit and Rob search only to find Barbies with blood on them and human heads are falling into Kit's hands. Where is Muffy anyway and who the fuck is Buffy?
Will Kit and Rob and get away from the killer? They will have to move and dodge a bit and maybe they have a chance! You watch April Fools Day and you decide. Is it a JOKE OR IS IT REEL?
I thought the acting was good and the directing was ok. Amy Steel from Friday the 13th 2 is good at acting scared and Deborah Foreman was good at being creepy. Sometimes it was slow and sometimes it was fast. I was interested with the clues and I thought it was average but not great for a slasher film. Sometimes, things can get out of hand. Alright? Cool.....I thought "April Fools Day" was reely kinda good for mid 80's slashers. It had ok acting and a good cast and the music had a good beat and I could dance to it.
