"I just dont get it OK!"

I was always under the impression that sequals need to follow the others to some degree.. I obviously was wrong

OK In the history of movies I can only really think of one other major departure in sequls, where one took NO notice of the others. Halloween III season of the witch dropped Michael Myers in favour for some evil masks.. but it deserved being in the series of Halloween because it was a tale about halloween despite how are you may think it is.. obviously the filmmakers wanted the series to start being good halloween tales. So it had relevence no matter how tenuous.

Now House III The horror show dropped one thing. The house. Oh also the characters and the type of tounge in cheek afaiir that it was. It is a run of the mill slasher film. And I have no fucking clue why its in the house series.

The film is about an executed criminal (Brion James) who comes after the cop who put him away... ohhh how novel I never heard that one before.. So how do you think it goes then?

You know how it goes.. Here it relys on shock tactics and gore to eliviate the viewer from being so bored he/she wishes they were watching Goulies Go To College instead!

Maybe Im being unfair, this film is fine as long as you forget its been done before, its totally bland and you would be better off doing something worthwhile with thge hour and a half it has taken for it to re-tell a story you dont much care for.

And I suppose the filmmakers agreed with me as House 4 went back to the house!

In conclusion a no point film that doesn't mean much but on a crap horror film scale its better than some.
