"'No Penises Were Harmed During The Making Of This Film'"
For a film about male strippers, it wun't all that bad.I mean, male strippers... who wants to see a movie about male strippers? Not I, said the wolf. So logically, who'd wanna see a movie about 6 ass-ugly male strippers? Not I, said the wolf.
But all in all it wun't bad.
The upside to this film is that there's barely any nudity in all. But you know what? I'm not putting into perspective the female gender in here. I mean, "to each their own" comes into effect now, right? I'm showing a shitload of bias.
So therefore, I gotta say, that the film ruled ass because the crises that each character had -- stage fright, parenthood, physical insecurities, homosexuality, unemployment, etc. made the film all the more interesting and (here's that bias again) thankfully distracted from the male stripper aspect.
It's a film about friends who're there for each other throughout all. It's almost like a cooler, more British, more male stripper-orientated "Waiting To Exhale".But I won't call it that.
