If you quote me one more damn thing from this movie I'm going to kill you.I didn't see this movie in the theaters. Not the first run, not the second run. I saw it on a tiny crappy TV in my room with people talking the entire time. Nevertheless...it rocked. Usually, I don't like John Travolta, but maybe him being the bad guy brought out my hidden feelings for him. This was what one might call "an intelligent action movie", if one were into labeling movies idiotic things like that. The premise is simple: John Travolta = good guy Nic Cage = bad guy Then all this shit goes down, and John Travolta has to become Nic Cage, so they slice off his face and sew the other one on, give the man some lipo, attach a thing to his voicebox, and everything goes just dandy until a faceless Nic Cage wakes up and then bammo: John Travolta = bad guy Nic Cage = good guy
So they chase each other around for awhile, trying to get their faces back. It's got some great action sequences, some good one-liners, and some nice shots of a guy getting almost electrocuted. I'd say check it out.But what was with that running-the-hand-on-the-face thing? I mean, wouldn't that freak you out?
