Jerry Springer meets Noel Coward. Fun for the whole family.

I actually didn't mind Tori Spelling in this movie. She wasn't bad. Now, Freddie Prinze Jr, however, that's a different story. He sucked. I think he's annoying as shit. The plot: Marty comes home for Thanksgiving with his new fiancee, the aforementioned Ms. Spelling. This is the first time Marty has brought a friend home to meet the family. Marty hasn't had many friends. Maybe it's a good thing. We meet his brother (the aforementioned annoying-as-shit guy) his mom (the chick from "Coma") and his sister, Jackie-O. She's called Jackie-O because she dresses like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Specifically, she wears what Jackie wore the day Kennedy was shot. She and Marty are close. They're twins. They're very close. You know what I'm talking about.
This movie is really well written, which understandably, pisses some people off. "Too many words! Brain hurt!" It's based on an old play, which means few sets, lots of dialogue, and no mention of an asteroid the size of Texas. This movie is really funny, really twisted, and Parker Posey rules the universe. And, as mentioned before, Tori, as the fiancee, doesn't do too badly. She's kinda cute. But Freddie Prinze Jr? Forget about it. I'm glad he wasn't in this movie all that much, or else they woulda had to call it "I know what you did last summer, and it's kinda gross. That's your sister, you weirdo!"

Noel Coward was a playwright who wrote really spiffy dialogue. Jerry Springer is the antichrist.
