Trainspotting is one of those movies that are so classic, that no one really cares that it's immoral.Yes, boys and girls, this movie is immoral. Hell, there's drugs, nudity and sex with minors in this movie. So if your a fanboy, don't give me any shit about not liking this movie for any of those reasons, 'cos dammit... you know you're wrong.
The movie follows the plight of one man, Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) and his quest for sobriety in his world of sex, drugs and rock n' roll -- actually, it's just drugs, but who cares?
The movie is part of a trilogy of movies by Hodge, Boyle and McGregor. This is the second. The other two are Shallow Grave and a Life Less Ordinary. The three movies are only related to each other by one thing: they all involve a shitload of money. In Trainspotting, it's from a drug heist. In this movie, we call that the 'plot twist', and instead of taking away from the plot, it actually adds a new level of humour.Trainspotting is charismatic, witty and humourous and most of all, immoral. But who the fuck cares, eh?
