Bad Company (2002)
[AllPosters.com] Buy posters from this movie
by Greg Muskewitz

"The company is not all that's bad."
1 stars

Loud-mouthed Chris Rock, playing a loud-mouthed ticket scalper, is recruited by Anthony Hopkins and the CIA when a twin heretofore unknown to Rock (a quondam operative) is killed during an important operation.

There is, expectedly, a certain formula or repetition of wisecrack, put-in-place, action, wisecrack, put-in-place, action. Meanwhile, obstinacy is made to be humorously under-rated, and once again national security or what-have-you is put at the disposal of any old smack-talking Joe (or Johnson), because, as we all know by now, a nimble mind and high-tech gadgetry won’t get you anywhere, but a fast-talking smart aleck will likely save the world.

Directed by Joel Schumacher. With Peter Stormare and Kerry Washington.

[Not to be bothered with.]
