An unencouraging threefold expansion on the former MTV series, accompanying the stunt-hungry dimwits in a random series of collected gags, pranks, pratfalls, dares, injuries, etc. After the staged opening (shot on film), Johnny Knoxville and his band of stooges quickly get underway with whatever they all can come up with, dumping the already almost unwatchable stunts onto video footage. The “too hot for TV” label just means that here you can get unlimited fuzzy asses and profanity while the gung-ho morons place electric muscle stimulators on their nipples, their faces, their penises, their “gooch” (the area between the penis and the testicles), dangle meat from their jockstrap (and wearing nothing else) while hanging over an exhibit of alligators, as well as nipple-biting, rent-a-car-smashing, golf cart-crashing, so on and so forth. Aware of previous examples from when the show regularly aired, its familiarity offered no fond memories. So at the 25-minute mark, I took my cue and ended it where the broadcast would have done the same, which is more than I lasted before.
Directed by Jeff Tremaine. With Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Bam Margera and Jason Acuña.[Not to be bothered with.]
