Geez, I'll never think of ALF the same way again

Who would have guessed that episodes of the hit sitcom ALF were being written by someone taking enough drugs to kill a horse? Well, okay so that part isn't a HUGE shocker. I'm sure we've all seen movies about people who take drugs and how they hit rock bottom and then try to pull themselves out of it, be it another big screen picture or an nbc movie of the week, and I guess Permenent Midnight doesn't really add too much to the genre really, its just another story. But its a true story so that makes it better than most i've seen, and Ben Stiller really does give a good performance (i assume, i've never really hung around with people while they're high :) Elizabeth Hurley has a good role as well.
As drama roles for Ben Stiller go, this one soared over Your Friends and Neighbors. And is it me or do Andy Dick and Janeane Garofalo always show up wherever ben is, and vice versa. If the cast of the old "Ben Stiller Show" is so buddy-buddy then why don't they just bring it back, that was so much better than crud like what about mary. *sigh* :)
Anyways, Permanent Midnight, its only an hour and a half, catch a day show if you can, its a good entertaining story.

If only they could have go permissions to just use ALF :)
