1. Penn and Winslet, twins conjoined at the head. Ick.
2. Penn in the lower left, doing that "hold the imaginary ho's ass with your left hand, spank the air with your right hand, and say 'who's your daddy?' while doing a hip-hop dance." Ick again. |

The most horrifying aspect of the cover is Earl Dittman's quote. |

Gone is the haunting simplicity of the poster (which the 2-disc version keeps, though), replaced by:
Horrid floating head crap, topped off by a half-smirk by Cage that seems to comically say, "Well, here we go again!" |

The original poster for World Trade Center was the best thing about the whole damn film. _________________ "We hate the French! We fight wars against the French! Did all those men die in vain on the fields of Agincourt? Was the man who burned Joan of Arc just wasting good matches?" |

If I remember the box office correctly, most of "The Wicker Man" was not seen in the theaters! |

I just saw this on DVD. Could someone please enlighten me and explain what was the non-alternate ending shown in theaters? The DVD ending is basically the same as the 1973 original, only not nearly as good; and the credits come up so abruptly that it looks like something was cut. Was there, like, additional scenes of Nic Cage running around in a bear suit while punching out women and yelling "Oh my God, not the bees!" or something?

The downsized image here doesn't quite do the suckiness justice. You gotta see the DVD first-hand to truly soak it all in, in all its Zoomness. And what's with the new subtitle?

My kindergartener and fourth grader saw the DVD ad for this on TV. Here is their actual conversation:
Jacob (kindergartener): I wanna see that!
Joshua (the all knowing fourth grader): Jacob, we've already seen "Sky High."
THE END
roll credits...

Um... what's Bale doing to that poor guy there?
Aside from being horrible on its own, this cover also boasts the worst Photoshopped heads ever. |

I was actually going to rent Harsh Times today, but that cover made me think twice.
Actually, it stopped me from thinking altogether and I just walked away. _________________

Jesus. I'm psyched for a Trading Places SE, but c'mon already. It's not even like "looking good, feeling good" is all that memorable a line. How about the "From PERSIA!! Edition!" ? _________________ Scott Weinberg |
