Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson

(A friend recorded the fairly cool Not Another Teen Movie soundtrack. 80's tune by 90's bands. Not bad.)

Yeah, but not good either.

I do wonder if MM knows what the tainted in "Tainted Love" actually means.

For me now it's "Whatever Happened To My Rock 'n' Roll (punk song)" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

In not totally unrelated news, I'd been listening to The Clash this morning.

The theme song to the Partridge Family

I didn't know it was in there until you asked.

"Hello world, there's a song that were singing. C'mon get happy!"

But yesterday, it was the theme song to "I Dream Of Jeannie"

Space abhors a vacuum. I should get a radio.

You know, I don't have a television, or a radio or a CD player, not even in my car. I don't read the papers. I'm amazed I have the slightest clue about what goes on in the world.

I HAD a CD player once, but I lost it in the fire.

Dusty likes BRMC - nice taste, sir.

Right now I'm digging on "Rained Out Parade" by Wide Mouth Mason. It's a little poppy, but until the tenth radio hearing, I'm sure I just don't care.

'Brand New Key' from the Boogie Nights soundtrack.

Come to think of it, that song is always in my head! I wonder why...

"Woke up in a car" - Something Corporate.

I like that "She is Beautiful" song too. Is it just me, or does that guy sound like the lead singer from the Bosstones? (Maybe he is? I don't know . . .)

A Letter To Elise by The Cure, and Hands Clean by Alanis. It took a while for that second one to work it's way in to my noggin, but it seems to be sticking around.
