Yeah, it's not really hitting me in the funny bone, either. I wonder a bit if it's because there's a lot of drug humor in it and that's just not going to play much in the TV ads and green-band previews. Those wind up playing up the action and effects, and this movie's not going to live and die by those.

Plus, I find myself scratching my head at "David Gordon Green, stoner action-comedy auteur". Sure, I don't begrudge anyone wanting to play with the big Hollywood toys, but this isn't really the stuff that he's established himself as doing well.
