Yeah, I've had an account there for over four years. Bought up big on stocks for Kirsten Dunst, Zooey Deschanel, Brittany Murphy, and Tobey Maguire before they were big things and I've seen the profit % up around 150%-200% for each of them. The problem is you'd really have to trade and sell and stuff like a maniac to really jump up any leaderboards, but it is cool just trying to tip what's gonna go up in value and the like.

Maybe in another four years I'll be right up there. My net worth at the moment is $4,600,000 (from a start-up of $2,000,000 I believe). Smile

I mucked around with it for a few weeks but found the same problem as Boris. The people on the leaderboards are obsessed.

I have an account, but I normally only look at it four or five times a year.

Apparently I made a big pile of cash when ROTK 'cashed out'. I've never learned about the best time to 'sell'.

My current stocks:

Hellboy - 32,679 shares, bought at $35.84, currently at $50.25
Alien Vs. Predator - 50,000 shares, bought at $23.89, currently at $58.72
Captain America - 20,000 shares, bought at $27.25, currently at $7.76 (ouch)
Rendezvous with Rama - 3,000 shares, bought at $13,83, currently at $27.06
Terminator 4 - 1,000 shares, bought at $14.05, currently at $11.32

And then a few days ago (inspired by this thread) I went and bought the following:

Garden State - 50,000 shares, bought at $6.75, currently $6.62
Haute Tension - 25,000 shares, bought at $5.19, currently $5.58
I Heart Huckabee's - 5,000 shares, bought at $13.91, currently $13.91
Open Water - 10,000 shares, bought at $15.00, currently 14.35 (buy this stock, folks!)
Saw - 10,000 shares, bought at $10.13, currently $9.48

...and my Crown Jewel...

The Simpsons Movie - 50,000 shares, bought at $16.61, currently $27.54 (in less than a week!)

If there are enough HBS folks who play in the HSX, I could start up a private group so we could compete amongst ourselves. Lemme know.

And give me some tips.
