John Carpenter!! How could I forget about John Carpenter!! His commentaries are always a great listen, especially if Kurt Russell's in the room.

Dave, who demands a They Live special edition

I know, wtf is up with that "re-release" of They Live, it sucks! The laserdisc has a commentary with Roddy Piper and Carpenter, that SHOULD'VE been on the new dvd. At least I have Escape from New York SE to look forward to.

One commentary just popped into mind: the Criterion release of Charade. Hearing Stanley Donen and Peter Stone bicker like an old married couple is wonderful. Their memory of the film is shaky, so they argue about every inch of the film. But in a light way. Great stuff.

Dude, I wish Klaus Kinski were still alive....how cool would a commentary track for something like Aguirre: Wrath of God with Herzog and Kinski bickering be?

I just watched Watcher in the Woods and could have sworn that Klaus Kinski was playing the dad.

I gotta go rent Aguirre again. Memory... fading...
