This one looks solid.

How much you looking to spend?

Thanks for the recomendation. All I really do is watch movies, and I wouldn't mind recording TV, but I don't need to. I'm willing to go as high as about $200. I already have one tha works, but I want to get something newer.

Oh shit, Lukie, with 200 smackers you could get something middle-end-NOICE.

Seriously. Just keep your eyeballs glued to the Sunday circulars that CC and BB put out. You'll find something solid before you know it.

(P.S. "Yorx" = not good quality.)

Advice I like to repeat to DVD shoppers: If it's a brand name you recognize, go for it. If it's a brand you don't know, there's a 95% chance it'll suck. Avoid "Magnetbox" and "Panaphonic" and you'll do OK. Anything else is all up to what specs you desire. Like Scott said, just check them Sunday circulars.

Thanks a lot. Btw, when I wrote that "all I really do is watch movies," I meant with my DVD player. Not in life! I don't need the DVD player to record, burn or play CDs. I realized I sounded a little pathetic! Crying or Very sad
