18 minutes of 3 crappy deleted scenes and that's it.

It was nice though to now know why Hulka came in the barracks
that one day saying he knew someone had left the base...

And it was nice to see the uncut boobies scenes. Laughing

I'm not sure I'll bother with this one.

The problem is not only that I have seen the film a zillion times already, it's also that I believe it's overrated, and that the third act just destroys the entire movie.

It's not the first military comedy to fail on that level. I can see the same weaknesses in Private Benjamin -- in which the great first half gives its place to the Paris episode where the film is neither humorous nor compelling.

Besides, just like collegiate comedies, military comedies must run on the same jokes again and again and again. You just can't invent anything new anymore.

I agree completely. Caddyshack and Stripes are on the bottom of my list of favorite Murray movies. The first time I saw Caddyshack I thought, "What? THIS is funny?" Stripes is definately overrated.
