So I'm on YouTube a few weeks ago when I find a video for something called a "speed run." I think it's attached to the old NES game Castlevania (although it may have been something like "Mega Man" -- I just don't remember anymore). Has anyone else watched any of these things?
Basically someone tapes themselves beating a video game really, really fast. I mean, these guys beat old NES games in less than 5 minutes sometimes. Seriously, go to gametheater.org and search for "Kung Fu." It's beaten in 3 minutes, 43 seconds.
But I think my personal favorites are ones like "Resident Evil 4," which require three different videos to get the entire game in. That speed run is like 4 hours long. Are there people actually watching that whole thing for fun? I mean, I can understand watching an old favorite like "River City Ransom" for 5 minutes, but 4 hours? I can't be the only person fascinated by these things, can I? _________________ "If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell, a level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater."
