You're a neo maxi zoom dweebie.I cannot stress enough how this film should be required viewing for anyone who's into movies.
I grew up with this movie. I'll sit and watch it every time it comes on television, I've got a battered old copy I taped off of HBO I watch a couple times a month. It's probably the best movie to come out of the 1980's, and it helped launch the careers of Judd Nel..wait, he's only on Suddenly Susan now. How about Molly Ringwa...no, after The Stand and that TV series, you don't see much of her. Ally Shee...High Art, but that's it. Emilio Este...Duck movies. Anthony Mic...Jesus, what has he done lately?
Okay, so it pretty much typecast them for the better part of their young lives, and they've never really escaped the shadow of this movie. That's fine, because this movie rules balls. It's got some of the best lines and even inspired an episode of Dawson's Creek. How's that for popular culture? Throw in that awesome Simple Minds tune (which is now stuck in my head), and there's nothing bad to say about this movie.I never did it either. I'm not a nymphomaniac. I'm a compulsive liar.
