"Sloppy, dumbed down, unfunny comedy."

Okay, so Whoopi Goldberg is famous for what reason?

I'll tell you why, and this may rankle a few people. She's black and she's known by whites. She is not a great actress. If she was, she isn't now. When mister whitebread studio head has a role for a black person in his next big budget shitbomb, he looks among the brothers and sistahs he knows won't be objectionable to the trailer trash brigade. Whitened brothers like Will Smith, Eddie Murphy, Denzel and Morgan Freeman.

You can not tell me that Danny Glover is the best black male actor around, or even in the same ballpark as your average WB sitcom cast, yet he continues to get the big "black" roles. There are so many better black actors and actresses out there, but because fo the small minds of the Hollywood clique, they struggle along in low budget "made for brothers" films like Soul Food, Sprung, Love Jones - while Eddie, Whoopi, Glover and Will get the cream roles (no pun intended).

And because Whoopi is known in your average small minded household, she get's mucho work.

Okay, switching off the moral crusade now.

So does Eddie suck almighty hunks of crap?

Indeed it does, thereby proving not only that she can't act, but also proving the rule that basketball players can't either.

I doubt any self respecting actress, black or white, would have taken this role, so maybe it's a good thing Whoopi is around to take the roles nobody else would go near with an asbestos suit.

If you've seen the stupidity of Celtic Pride, then imagine it with Dennis Rodman in a cameo - then you'll know just how awful this is. Avoid.
